COOKING CLASSES

After two years of lockdowns and allowing space for physical distancing, we are ready to start cooking classes  in April, May and June.

 

My classes will be mainly about Thai food and will be tailored towards home cooking of dishes you would find when sharing a meal in a Thai home. I will share with you what I know and how I normally cook, how I have learned the dishes over the years and how I have adapted them when I cook Thai food here in Central Victoria. You will learn how to make curry paste, sauces and dressings. We'll use some in class to cook with, and the rest will be for you to take home.

Additionally I cook with little or no sugar. I strive to cook without processed ingredients unless I know how and where they are produced. I share stories about the dishes, how they came to be and which part of Thailand they originated. The classes are casual and welcome questions and discussions. Most of all I believe that cooking should be fun, easy and accessible to all. 

Our Services

Don't see any class that fits your need or the dates don't work? Get 5-8 friends or family members together and we will design a private class to suit you and your dates.

Class and Booking Policy:​

  • Class fees are $160 per class (except otherwise specified)

  • Maximum number of participants = eight

  • If too few participants have registered, the class will be cancelled and fees refunded or applied to other classes

  • If you need to cancel, please do so up to one week prior to the class date to allow others on the wait list to attend.

  • Class will be cancelled on extreme weather warning days or if health restrictions are in place. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

 

Aprons and knives are provided in class. If you have your favourites, please bring them along.

Wear toe covered shoes and comfortable attire.

It is best NOT to schedule another activity soon after class as quite often class goes over time limit and you are welcome to see the food garden and composting methods after class.
